Lily's First Trip to the Church Nursery
Aaron and I decided that it was now time to put Lily in the church nursery. Sadly I haven't been to church much since Lily was born. I have been nervous about going and keeping her with me in the service. She has a tendency to be vocal and/or grumpy during the church hours. With that said, I have been waiting to put her in the nursery for several reasons. I wanted to wait till she was at least 6 months old, I wanted to get past flu season, and I wanted to feel comfortable leaving her there for 1 1/2 hours. I have successfully reached that place and now plan on taking her every week. She did great! She didn't even get fussy during her missed nap time. It was so cute because as soon as we got in the car she fell asleep and slept for a solid hour. We took a couple of pictures after church, so I thought I would post them.

Lily Turns 6 Months Old
Wow! It's hard to believe - Lily is now 6 months old. Time goes by so fast. I can remember the sleepless nights when she first came home. We had her 6 month checkup this past Friday. She now weighs 14 lb 12.5 oz (25%), is 26 in. long (60%), and her head is 42 1/2 cm around (50%). She has grown steadily but slowly over the last few months. She is now eating 32 oz of formula a day, attempting to eat some solid food (bananas and sweet potatoes), almost sitting up on her own, cutting 2 teeth, sleeping around 11 hours a night, laughing, rolling over from back to front and front to back, responding when you call her name and overall developing a cute little personality. Here are some pictures over the last month...

Easter Weekend
We had a great Easter weekend. On Friday my grandparents and Aunt Peggy came to visit. It had been several months since they had seen Lily, so it was a much needed visit. On Sunday, my mom, stepdad, sister and niece came to visit. We are so thankful for the time we had together and can't wait to see them again. Here are some pictures from our weekend...
