Lily attempted to drink from a sippy cup and ended up getting her outfit wet. We borrowed a onesie from our friend - I thought the backside was funny.

Anna loves holding Lily. She even calls her "my baby".

Time With Family...

No More Swaddling

After much reluctance, Aaron and I decided to stop swaddling Lily. At Lily's 4 month appointment with the pediatrician, he recommended that we try to take the swaddle away. I have feared this decision for several weeks. However, last week Lily decided that she was done with the swaddle. She woke up one night at 11pm and only went back to sleep when we unswaddled her. I think she really just wants to suck her thumb. Now, when we go get her every morning it amuses us where she may have positioned herself throughout the night. Here is a picture of what we see almost every morning now.

The World's Greatest Granddad Comes to Visit!

Last Sunday my dad surprised us and came to visit. I think he really just wanted to see Lily :). We had a quick, but good visit and love when he comes to see us. Here are some pictures from our time together.

Enjoying the Beautiful Weather!

We have had 80 degree weather the last couple of days. Lily and I ventured outside to enjoy this beautiful weather. I actually put Lily in her stroller forward-facing and I think she had a good time. My only concern is making sure she doesn't get too much sun. Any advice on when I can start using sunscreen on an infant??? I thought I heard that you had to wait several months (6 months or so). It will be back to 45 this weekend, so no more outside trips until the warm weather comes back. Lily and I will anxiously await spring and summer time.
